Kevin was born in Hantsport, Nova Scotia Canada and at the age of 15 suffered a spinal cordage or leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. Through perseverance and great community support, Kevin continued his educational journey at St. Mary’s University graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2000.
Kevin is very passionate about disability awareness and showcases some of his adventures with his spouse Dee on their social media platform @accessibleadventurers.
Technology has played a huge role in Kevin’s independence since his injury. In 2015, Kevin was introduced to the accessibility features of the iPhone and iPad specifically switch control. Nearly 6 years later, Kevin is an avid user and would love to share his experiences about how Apple products have empowered him in so many ways!
